Facial fingerprint access terminal

The ZKTeco zFace1702+WIFI is a facial and fingerprint access control terminal built for offices and sites needing multi-factor verification. It combines a high-speed visible-light facial recognition algorithm with a dual-lens megapixel HD camera and under-display optical fingerprint recognition. A standard IC card reader adds a third credential option, and verification methods can be freely combined for flexible security policies.

IP65 protection and environmental range

The unit carries IP65 all-round protection for worry-free daily operation in exposed locations. It operates between -5 and 45 degrees Celsius and handles humidity from 10% to 90% RH without condensation. Power is supplied via DC12V 3A, and the compact chassis measures 238 by 115 by 22.3 millimetres for straightforward wall mounting.

Video intercom and wireless doorbell integration

Integrated door sensor and alarm functions work alongside access control, while interconnection with indoor units and wireless doorbell receivers enables one-touch calling, video intercom, call recording, remote door opening and doorbell alerts. Management is handled through compatible software including ZKAccess3.5, ZKTime5.0, ZKTime11.0 and E-ZKEco Pro for log query and user administration.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the zFace1702+WIFI and what wiring step is often missed?

Fix the unit using the 238×115×22.3 mm footprint, run a DC12V 3A supply and connect the door sensor plus alarm terminals; the step most installers forget is linking the sensor so the relay releases on egress.

Which consumable or module will need replacement first on the zFace1702+WIFI?

The under-display optical fingerprint sensor is the only moving-part module; after heavy daily traffic it degrades before the dual-lens camera or IC reader, so plan a sensor swap when read failures rise.

What limit appears first when the zFace1702+WIFI runs continuously in a busy lobby?

The 300,000-event log fills before the 10,000-user databases; once full the terminal stops recording new entries until logs are offloaded via USB or TCP/IP.
