12 in Reclosable Bag

This 12 in long by 2 in wide reclosable bag is made from low density polyethylene with a 2 mil thickness and a zip seal closure. It includes a hang hole and a white block for labelling. The flat bottom design keeps the bag stable when filled. FDA compliant construction makes it suitable for food contact applications.

Flat Pack Storage Format

Supplied as a flat pack of 1000 bags, this format minimises storage space before use. The hang hole allows the bags to be displayed on pegboards or hooks in a workshop or retail setting. No additional dispensing equipment is required to access individual bags from the pack. The zip seal can be opened and closed repeatedly without tools.

Sustained Use Characteristics

Low density polyethylene maintains flexibility across repeated opening and closing cycles. The 2 mil wall thickness resists punctures during routine handling of small parts or samples. FDA compliance remains valid for the life of the bag when used as intended. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to chemicals present in the material.

Questions about this item

How long will the 2 mil Low Density Polyethylene hold up when the bag is opened and closed repeatedly throughout the day?

The 2 mil LDPE construction with zip seal is designed for repeated reclosing; the flat bottom and hang hole support daily handling without tearing.

Does the bag emit any odour or heat when left sealed with contents for extended periods?

The Low Density Polyethylene material is inert and FDA compliant, so it does not generate heat or odour during all‑day storage.

What dispenser or mounting hardware is needed to use the hang hole on a standard pegboard?

The integrated hang hole fits standard pegboard hooks or nails; no additional dispenser is required.
