137-Piece Hood Prop & Rod End Kit

This Zoro Select assortment supplies 137 clips and fasteners for hood prop rods and door lock linkages. It targets professional technicians and DIY owners who service General Motors and Ford vehicles and need a broad range of replacement retainers in one package.

Mixed Nylon & Metal Fasteners

The kit combines metal and nylon clips organised by rod size and application, so the correct retainer can be matched without guesswork. Installers should verify each clip orientation before pressing it into place because several left-hand and right-hand variants look similar and can bind if reversed.

Check Rod Diameter & Hole Size

Before ordering, confirm the rod diameter and mounting hole dimensions on the vehicle you are repairing. The assortment includes 5/32 in and 4 mm rod sizes with a 6 mm hole size on specific clips; mismatched dimensions will prevent a secure fit.

Which clips are included in the box and what must I source separately?

The box includes 137 assorted hood prop and rod end clips in metal and nylon for GM and Ford applications. No additional clips are included; any other sizes or vehicle-specific retainers must be purchased separately.

Should I choose this 137-piece kit or a smaller assortment for mixed GM and Ford repairs?
