17-inch top-exhaust rack fan

The AC Infinity AIRCOM T9 is a 17-inch rack-mount cooling unit that pulls hot air from AV components and exhausts it upward. Three dual-ball bearing PWM fans deliver 210 CFM while operating at 21 dBA. An integrated LCD thermostat offers six speed settings, alarm alerts, failure triggers and backup memory. The slim 1.5-inch profile fits tight cabinet spaces and supports horizontal or vertical mounting.

Installers needing quiet AV cooling

This system suits installers protecting receivers, amplifiers and DVRs in enclosed cabinets where low noise is critical. The smart thermostat automates fan response so components stay within safe temperatures without manual adjustment. Buyers who need side or rear exhaust airflow, or who require higher static pressure for dense server gear, should look at alternative rack cooling designs.

210 CFM top-exhaust airflow

The single specification that decides fit is the 210 CFM top-exhaust rating, which determines how much heat the unit can remove from a cabinet through its upper surface. Match this figure against the total thermal load of your AV stack and the cabinet’s ventilation path to confirm the fan system can maintain the required temperature rise.

Questions about this item

Will the 17-inch wide AIRCOM T9 fit on top of my existing AV receiver without overhang?

The unit measures 17 inches wide by 13.5 inches deep, so compare those dimensions to your receiver's top surface to confirm it sits fully supported.

How can I verify the three dual-ball bearing fans are running correctly after installation?

The front LCD controller displays real-time temperature and fan speed; SMART mode automatically adjusts speeds, while alarm alerts and fan-failure triggers warn you if any blower stops.

Does the package include the power adapter and hardware for mounting, or must I buy them separately?

A corded power adapter is included for plug-in operation; the steel enclosure supports horizontal or vertical mounting using its built-in flange, so no extra brackets are required.
