6U Wall-Mount Cabinet for Networking Gear

This NavePoint cabinet provides 6U of rack space in a 450mm deep enclosure that can be wall-mounted or used freestanding. It accepts standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment and supports up to 132 pounds of hardware. The welded steel frame and locking side panels keep networking devices secure and organised.

Removable Shelf and Dual Fans for Cooling

A vented component shelf is included for non-rackmount devices such as modems or small UPS units. Two built-in fans draw air through the vented sides to help maintain safe operating temperatures. Locking side panels lift off completely for quick access during installation or maintenance.

Check Wall Fixings and Assembly Requirements

The unit ships flat-packed and requires assembly before mounting. Verify that your wall structure can support the combined weight of the cabinet plus 132 pounds of equipment using appropriate fixings. Ensure 450mm depth clearance is available at the chosen location.

Questions about this item

Will the two built-in fans need periodic cleaning or replacement?

The cabinet includes two built-in fans for active cooling. Like any mechanical fan, they should be checked for dust buildup and cleaned with compressed air; replacement is only needed if a fan becomes noisy or stops spinning.

What load limit is reached first when the rack is fully populated?

The welded steel frame is rated for a 132 pound total weight capacity, so the structural limit will be reached before the 6U vertical space or the 19-inch rail width are exhausted.

How much heat and noise do the two fans add during continuous operation?

The fans draw cool air through the vented sides and exhaust it through the top slots, keeping internal temperatures low; they run on standard mains power and produce a low background hum typical of small AC axial fans.
