Targeted gaming laptop

The Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-795C-HID11P is a 15.6-inch Windows 11 Pro notebook built for demanding play and content work. It pairs an Intel Core i7-12700H 14-core processor with 20 threads and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card carrying 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. A 2560 x 1440 QHD panel running at 240 Hz with IPS ComfyView technology provides fast, colour-accurate visuals. The system ships with 64 GB of DDR5 4800 MHz RAM in dual-channel configuration and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD.

Thermal behaviour under load

Upgraded thermal interface materials applied during the quality-control process lower peak temperatures during sustained CPU and GPU workloads. The RTX 3070 Ti operates at a maximum TGP of 150 W with a boost clock of 1510 MHz, and the improved paste and pads help prevent throttling during extended sessions. Burn-in stress testing verifies that the cooling solution maintains stable clocks without excessive fan noise. This preparation keeps performance consistent when the 14-core Alder Lake processor and the GPU are both pushed hard.

Pre-purchase checks

Confirm that your workflow can use Windows 11 Pro and that any specialised software is compatible with the 12th-generation Intel architecture. Verify that the 14.10 x 10.90 x 0.98-1.02 inch chassis and 5.73 lb weight suit your mobility needs. The 64 GB DDR5 kit is installed as two 32 GB modules; ensure future upgrade plans account for the occupied slots. PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe and SATA storage paths are present, so additional drives can be added if the physical bay is free.
