Built for high-frame-rate gaming

The Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-795C-HID14P is a 15.6 inch QHD gaming laptop with a 240Hz IPS panel. It runs on an Intel Core i7-12700H 14-core processor and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti GPU with 8GB GDDR6 memory. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed for immediate use.

Upgraded memory and storage

HIDevolution installs 64GB of DDR5 4800MHz RAM in dual-channel configuration using two 32GB modules. The original drive is replaced by 8TB of NVMe SSD capacity across two 4TB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 drives. Thermal interface materials are also upgraded to lower temperatures and reduce fan noise under load.

Verify power and port needs

The system draws up to 150W TGP for the GPU, so confirm your dock or charger can sustain that delivery. Check that your external monitors support 2560 x 1440 at 240Hz over the available video outputs. Ensure any peripherals you rely on match the provided LAN and WLAN connectivity.

Questions about this item

Will the 64 GB DDR5 memory or the 8 TB NVMe SSD need to be replaced or upgraded later?

The laptop ships with 64 GB of DDR5 4800 MHz RAM in two 32 GB modules and an 8 TB NVMe array built from two 4 TB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 drives. Both are at the platform's practical ceiling, so further expansion is not supported.

What thermal limit appears first when the RTX 3070 Ti runs at its 150 W TGP during long sessions?

The GPU is rated for a 150 W maximum TGP with a 1510 MHz boost clock. Sustained loads at that power level will hit the cooling system's capacity before the silicon hits its own thermal ceiling.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the i7-12700H and RTX 3070 Ti are both under full load all day?

The 14-core i7-12700H can reach 4.7 GHz turbo while the RTX 3070 Ti draws up to 150 W. HIDevolution's upgraded thermal interface materials aim to lower temperatures and minimise fan noise, but the 0.98-1.02 inch profile limits total dissipation.
