15.6-inch QHD 240 Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-795C-HID12P is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop built around a 2560 x 1440 IPS panel running at 240 Hz. It pairs a 14-core Intel Core i7-12700H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card carrying 8 GB GDDR6 memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Sustained 150 W GPU power and DDR5 memory bandwidth

The RTX 3070 Ti operates at a maximum TGP of 150 W with a boost clock of 1510 MHz, allowing consistent frame rates during extended sessions. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 4800 MHz memory in dual-channel configuration supports heavy multitasking and memory-intensive workloads without bottlenecks. Upgraded thermal interface materials help lower system temperatures and reduce fan noise under continuous load.

Verify PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe slot

The 2 TB boot drive uses a PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe interface; confirm your replacement or additional storage matches this protocol. Memory upgrades require DDR5 SO-DIMM modules; the factory configuration uses two 32 GB sticks. Physical dimensions are 14.10 x 10.90 x 0.98~1.02 inches and weight is 5.73 lbs for bag or dock fitment checks.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the RTX 3070 Ti with 150 W TGP get during all-day sessions?

The 150 W TGP on the RTX 3070 Ti is managed by upgraded thermal interface materials that lower system temperatures, prevent throttling and minimise fan noise during sustained CPU and GPU loads.

What must I already own to use the 2 TB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD and 64 GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory?

The laptop ships with the 2 TB NVMe SSD and 64 GB DDR5 4800 MHz dual-channel memory already installed, so no extra storage or RAM is required to start working.

Will my older SATA drives work alongside the installed PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD?

Yes, the platform supports SATA-based SSDs in addition to the PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe drive, allowing you to keep using older SATA storage.
