ZORO SELECT 16V363 Caster Wheel

This ZORO SELECT caster wheel is built for heavy-duty carts and wheelbarrows that require a 1250 lb load rating. The 6 inch diameter wheel uses a polyurethane tread on an aluminum core for durability in yard and industrial settings.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive mechanical component the wheel generates no heat, noise or electrical draw during normal operation. The precision ball bearing and firm 92 Shore A tread roll smoothly without added resistance.

Sustained load behavior

Under continuous loads up to 1250 lb the donut tread shape and included spanner bushing maintain alignment on a 1/2 inch axle. The hub length of 2 7/16 inches supports stable tracking over extended use.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1/2 in axle with the included spanner bushing, and what step is often missed?

Slide the axle through the 2 7/16 in hub, fit the spanner bushing inside the precision ball bearing, then secure both sides evenly; the step often missed is centering the bushing before tightening.

What maintenance will the polyurethane tread and precision ball bearing need over time?

Inspect the 92 Shore A polyurethane for chunking or flat spots and wipe debris from the donut tread; re-grease the precision ball bearing if rotation becomes stiff.

At what load does the 1250 lb rating become the limiting factor during sustained use?

The 1250 lb load rating is the first limit reached; continuous loading near this figure will stress the aluminum core and polyurethane tread before other components.
