Product identity

This Aomoproing cable is a one-metre USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 male-to-female extender with a 90-degree connector. It carries 20 Gbps data, 4K 60 Hz video via DisplayPort Alternate Mode and up to 240 W Power Delivery 3.1 charging. The right-angle plug eases routing in tight ports.

Who should use it

Suits users who need to extend a USB-C link for external SSD, eGPU or monitor while keeping high-speed data and full PD 3.1 power. Not for buyers who need a standalone male-to-male cable, because this extender requires a separate USB 3.2 cable to complete the connection.

Deciding specification

The single spec that decides fit is the 20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 bandwidth combined with 240 W PD 3.1 support. If your host, device and the separate male-to-male cable all meet that standard, the extender will pass full performance; otherwise speeds or charging will fall back to the lowest common denominator.

Questions about this item

What cable must I already have to connect this 90-degree extender between my laptop and monitor?

You need a separate USB 3.2 male-to-male cable; it is not included with this female-to-male extender.

Will this cable still deliver 20 Gbps data and 240 W charging if my laptop only has a USB 3.1 port?

Yes, it is backward compatible with USB 3.1 and 3.0, so both speeds and power will negotiate to the port's maximum.

How can I confirm the extender is passing 4K 60 Hz video after I plug everything in?

Check that the external monitor reports its native 4K resolution at 60 Hz in your display settings.
