ROG Strix Helios GX601 Gaming Desktop

The ROG Strix Helios GX601 is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It targets enthusiasts who want a pre-assembled Windows 11 system ready for 4K gameplay and heavy multitasking without building from parts.

360mm Liquid Cooler and Dual Storage

A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 8-core CPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions. The 1TB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and load times, while the 2TB SATA III HDD adds bulk capacity for game libraries and media files. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed so the PC is usable immediately.

PCI Express x16 Graphics Interface Limits

The RTX 5080 connects through a PCI Express x16 slot, so its throughput depends on the motherboard's lane allocation and the CPU's supported generation. The 1000W power supply delivers headroom for the GPU and other components, but total system draw under full load will approach the unit's rated maximum.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need coolant replacement or pump service later?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is a sealed unit that does not require coolant refills; only the pump or fans would need attention if they eventually wear out.

Which component hits its limit first during long gaming sessions?

The RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7 graphics card will reach its thermal or power ceiling before the Ryzen 7 9700X CPU under sustained heavy loads.

How loud and hot does the system get when it runs all day?

The 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 7 9700X at low temperatures with quiet fan speeds, while the 1000 W power supply handles the RTX 5080 load efficiently.
