Built for 4K gaming and content creation

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor at 4.7GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card carrying 16GB GDDR7 memory. The system includes 128GB DDR5 RAM across four slots, a 4TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III HDD, and a 1000W power supply. It ships with Windows 11 Home and a 360mm liquid cooler for sustained thermal performance.

Upgrading from mid-range or older platforms

The jump is worth it when your current rig cannot sustain high frame rates at 4K resolution or struggles with heavy multitasking across creative workloads. The 16-core CPU and 128GB DDR5 capacity remove bottlenecks for simultaneous streaming, rendering, and gaming. Buyers who need only 1080p performance or lighter productivity tasks will not utilise the available headroom.

Fits a high-end build

The 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while the 1000W unit powers the RTX 5080 and all installed components. Four occupied DDR5 slots leave no immediate room for memory expansion without replacing modules. The combined 4TB NVMe and 2TB HDD provide fast primary storage and bulk capacity, reducing the need for extra drives at first.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler fit inside the GX601 chassis?

The system ships pre-assembled in the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case with the 360 mm liquid cooler already mounted, so no extra clearance check is needed.

What is the first step when setting up this PC for the first time?

Connect the power cable to the 1000 W supply, attach a display to the RTX 5080, then press the front power button to start Windows 11 setup.

Can the 128 GB DDR5 memory be expanded later?

All four DDR5 slots are populated, so any future upgrade means replacing the existing modules rather than adding more.
