ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White gaming desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor and AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics with 16GB GDDR6. It ships with 64GB DDR5 memory, 1TB NVMe SSD and 2TB SATA III HDD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the system is tested for immediate use.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your monitor has a compatible video input for the Radeon RX 9070 XT PCI Express x16 graphics card. Confirm your desk space accommodates a full-size desktop tower with a 360mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply. Ensure your local mains voltage matches the unit's requirements. Buyers needing a smaller chassis or different operating system should look elsewhere.

Upgrade context and value

This desktop replaces an older gaming PC that lacks an AM5 socket, DDR5 memory support or a modern Radeon GPU with 16GB VRAM. The jump is worthwhile when your current system cannot run current titles at high settings or struggles with multitasking across 64GB memory. It is not for buyers who want a compact form factor or a workstation-class CPU with more than 8 cores.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The system ships with the ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis, Ryzen 7 9700X processor, Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6, 64GB DDR5 memory, 1TB NVMe SSD, 2TB SATA III HDD, 360mm liquid cooler, 850W power supply, Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi and RGB lighting. A monitor, keyboard and mouse are not included.

Which version or capacity should I choose?

This is a single pre-configured model with the Ryzen 7 9700X, Radeon RX 9070 XT, 64GB DDR5, 1TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD and 850W power supply. There are no alternative versions or capacities listed for this product.

What does the 3.8GHz base clock mean in real use?

The 3.8GHz base frequency is the guaranteed minimum speed across all 8 cores under sustained load. In games and heavy workloads the Ryzen 7 9700X will boost higher automatically, while the 360mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures in check for consistent performance.
