White chassis liquid-cooled gaming desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 in white pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X at 4.3GHz with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD provide capacity for modern titles and multitasking. A 360mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply support the high-end components.

Step up from air-cooled mid-range builds

This system replaces configurations limited to lower core counts, smaller memory kits or air cooling that throttles under load. The jump is worth it when workloads demand sustained 16-core throughput, 16GB GDDR6 VRAM for high-resolution textures, and fast NVMe storage for asset streaming. Buyers who need more storage bays or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

360mm liquid loop handles sustained loads

Under extended gaming or rendering sessions the 360mm liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 9 9950X at stable clocks without the thermal ramp seen on air towers. The 850W unit delivers continuous power to the CPU and Radeon RX 9070 XT together, avoiding protective shutdowns during long compiles or 4K playthroughs. VR-ready certification confirms consistent frame pacing over hours, not minutes.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 360mm liquid cooler need inside the GX601 case?

The 360mm radiator mounts in the front or top of the GX601 chassis, so allow at least 360mm length plus fan thickness for tubing and airflow.

Which socket and power connectors must be seated when installing the Ryzen 9 9950X on the AM5 motherboard?

Seat the CPU in the AM5 socket, lock the lever, then attach the 850W unit's 8-pin EPS cable to the motherboard's CPU power header before closing the case.

How often should the liquid cooler's coolant be checked or replaced on this build?

A sealed 360mm AIO runs maintenance-free for years; only inspect for leaks or pump noise if temperatures rise unexpectedly.
