ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a new gaming desktop PC built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor running at 4.7GHz. It pairs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 32GB GDDR7 memory and 128GB DDR5 system memory. A 360mm liquid cooler manages thermals inside the chassis. Storage combines a 2TB NVMe SSD with a 2TB SATA III HDD, powered by a 1200W supply running Windows 11 Home.

Suits 4K enthusiasts; not for compact builds

This system suits enthusiasts targeting 4K gaming and heavy multitasking with the 16-core CPU and RTX 5090 GPU. The 128GB DDR5 capacity supports demanding content creation workflows. Builders needing a small-form-factor chassis should look elsewhere, as the 360mm liquid cooler and full-size graphics card require a spacious case. Buyers wanting a lower-power platform will find the 1200W supply excessive for their needs.

128GB DDR5 memory decides fit

The installed 128GB DDR5 memory across four slots determines whether this desktop matches your workload. This capacity handles large datasets, virtual machines and high-resolution asset editing without paging. If your applications run comfortably in 32GB or 64GB, the extra modules add cost without benefit. Verify your motherboard and CPU support this density and speed before committing.
