Ready-to-play gaming desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a fully assembled gaming desktop PC built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor running at 4.7 GHz and a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card with 16 GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed, a 360 mm liquid cooler and an 850 W power supply, so enthusiasts can start playing immediately without selecting or installing individual components.

Dual-drive storage with 128 GB DDR5

A 2 TB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and game-load speeds while a 2 TB SATA III HDD adds bulk capacity for media and backups, giving a combined 4 TB of space before extra drives are needed. The board populates all four DDR5 slots with 128 GB total, leaving no free slots for further memory upgrades; buyers who want more storage must add drives themselves, and those who need more than 128 GB of RAM cannot expand this system.

AM5 socket limits future CPU changes

The processor uses the AM5 socket and the motherboard supports a maximum of one CPU, so the 9800X3D is the only processor this chassis will ever accept. Buyers who want the option to swap to a different CPU later should choose a platform with a different socket or a board that lists multiple supported processors.

Questions about this item

Will my existing SATA III hard drive work alongside the 2TB NVMe SSD and 2TB HDD already installed?

Yes, the system includes a 2TB HDD on SATA III, so additional SATA drives can be added using the motherboard's remaining SATA ports.

How can I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Ryzen 7 9800X3D at safe temperatures?

Monitor CPU temperatures in the BIOS or with a hardware-monitoring utility; the 360mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 4.7 GHz 16-core processor under load.

Does the box contain the 850W power supply and Windows 11 Home, or must I buy them separately?

The 850W power supply and Windows 11 Home are pre-installed; the system ships tested and ready to play with both included.
