Ready-to-play desktop for 4K gaming

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White system pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor running at 4.7GHz with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card carrying 16GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed, 128GB of DDR5 RAM across four slots, a 1TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III hard drive. The 850W power supply drives the complete build.

360 mm liquid cooler manages thermals

A 360 mm liquid cooler handles the 16-core CPU and the discrete GPU under sustained load. The all-in-one loop moves heat directly to the radiator, keeping internal air temperatures lower than air-cooled alternatives. Fan curves stay quiet during typical gaming sessions while the 850W unit delivers stable power to both processor and graphics card.

128GB DDR5 in four slots defines upgrade path

The platform provides four DDR5 slots, all populated at 128GB total capacity. Future memory expansion requires replacing existing modules rather than adding to empty slots. Buyers who anticipate needing more than 128GB of system memory should verify their workload requirements before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid cooler without bending the AM5 socket bracket?

Mount the supplied 360 mm radiator to the case first, then lower the pre-filled cold plate onto the Ryzen 7 9800X3D using the AM5 retention frame — tighten the four thumbscrews in a cross pattern so pressure stays even.

When will the 128 GB DDR5 memory or 850 W power supply need replacement?

DDR5 modules rarely fail; plan to reseat them only if a BIOS update adds new XMP profiles. The 850 W unit should last the system life unless fan noise rises or voltages drift under load.

What thermal limit appears first during extended 4.7 GHz all-core loads?

The 360 mm liquid loop saturates before the Ryzen 7 9800X3D hits its thermal ceiling, so coolant temperature becomes the practical ceiling for sustained boost.
