Purpose-built gaming desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a pre-built gaming desktop PC powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16-core processor running at 4.3GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It targets enthusiasts who want high frame rates at 1440p or 4K without assembling parts themselves. The system arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and tested.

Build integration and expandability

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while the 850W power supply feeds the GPU and other components. Storage combines a 1TB NVMe SSD for the operating system and active titles with a 2TB SATA III HDD for bulk libraries. Four DDR5 slots are populated with 64GB total, leaving no free slots for memory expansion without replacing modules. WiFi and RGB lighting are integrated.

Upgrade context

This configuration replaces an older desktop that struggles with modern ray-traced titles or heavy multitasking workloads. The jump is worthwhile when the current machine lacks a 16-core AM5 processor, GDDR7 graphics memory or fast NVMe storage. It is not for buyers who need more than 64GB RAM, additional internal drive bays beyond the existing SSD and HDD, or a smaller chassis for limited desk space.

Questions about this item

How long can the 360mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 9 9950X at 4.3GHz under full load?

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 16-core processor during sustained workloads, maintaining stable temperatures so the CPU can hold its 4.3GHz base frequency without thermal throttling.

What noise and heat levels should I expect from the 850W supply and RTX 5070 Ti after hours of gaming?

The 850W power supply and RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 run within their thermal envelopes during extended sessions; the liquid cooler and case airflow keep component temperatures controlled while fan noise stays at a moderate level.

Which monitor cable and display input do I need to use the RTX 5070 Ti graphics?

Connect your monitor to the RTX 5070 Ti via a DisplayPort or HDMI cable plugged into the card’s rear I/O; the motherboard video outputs are disabled when the discrete GPU is installed.
