White Helios GX601 liquid-cooled desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 in white ships as a new, fully assembled gaming desktop PC. It targets enthusiasts who want a ready-to-play system built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The chassis includes a 360 mm liquid cooler, 128 GB of DDR5 memory and a dual-drive layout with 1 TB NVMe and 2 TB SATA III hard drive.

RTX 5080 with 16 GB GDDR7

The single specification that decides fit is the graphics card: a Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 equipped with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory on a PCI Express x16 interface. This GPU drives the virtual-reality-ready claim and sets the performance ceiling for 4K gaming and heavy content-creation workloads. Buyers who need more video memory or a different GPU architecture should look elsewhere.

1000 W PSU powers locked AM5 platform

The build runs on a 1000 W power supply that feeds the AM5 socket CPU, the RTX 5080 and all onboard storage without requiring an external power brick. Four DDR5 slots are already populated to 128 GB, leaving no room for memory expansion. The 1 TB NVMe and 2 TB SATA III drives occupy the primary storage bays, so additional drives would need spare mounting points and cabling not detailed here.

Questions about this item

How does the Ryzen 9 9950X 4.3GHz base clock behave once the processor is under sustained load in this desktop?

The 16-core CPU runs at its 4.3GHz base frequency and can boost higher depending on workload and the 360mm liquid cooler's thermal headroom.

What does the PCI Express x16 interface mean for the RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 graphics card in this system?

The GPU connects through a full x16 link so the card can use all available bandwidth for gaming and compute tasks.

What physical space and mounting points does the 360mm liquid cooler require inside the GX601 case?

The cooler occupies a 360mm radiator length with matching fan mounts, and the pump block fits the AM5 socket on the included motherboard.
