ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White system is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 64GB of DDR5 memory, a 1TB NVMe solid-state drive and a 2TB hard drive. A 1000W power supply and a 360mm liquid cooler support the high-performance components.

Best for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking.

The 16-core CPU at 4.3GHz and the RTX 5080 with 16GB GDDR7 suit creators and players who need maximum frame rates at 4K resolution and fast throughput for rendering or encoding workloads. The full-size chassis and 360mm liquid cooler require a spacious desk area, so buyers planning a small-form-factor or living-room build should consider a different form factor.

64GB DDR5 memory capacity

Four slots are populated to reach 64GB of DDR5 memory, leaving no free slots for further expansion. If your workflow demands more than 64GB, this configuration cannot be upgraded without replacing the installed modules.

Questions about this item

Will the 360mm liquid cooler fit a standard ATX case?

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis is designed around the included 360mm radiator, so no additional clearance checks are needed.

How do I install the Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 into the PCI Express x16 slot without damaging the retention clip?

Align the card with the top PCIe x16 slot, press down evenly until the rear bracket screws line up, then secure the bracket before engaging the motherboard retention clip.

When should I plan to replace the 360mm liquid cooler on this Ryzen 9 9950X system?

A sealed 360mm AIO typically runs 4 to 6 years; monitor CPU temperatures under load and replace the unit if idle temps rise more than 10 °C above the original baseline.
