System identity

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a pre-built gaming desktop PC built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor running at 4.3GHz and a Dhahab GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and includes a 360mm liquid cooler for the CPU. The system targets enthusiasts who want a high-end rig ready to play without assembly.

Buyer fit

This desktop suits players and creators who need 128GB DDR5 memory, a 1TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III hard drive, and a 1000W power supply in a single package. Buyers who want a smaller chassis, a lower-wattage power supply, or a different GPU brand should look at other configurations. The fixed component selection also limits later changes to the cooling loop or power delivery.

Build integration

The 360mm liquid cooler occupies the primary radiator mounting area, so case airflow must accommodate that footprint. The 1000W unit powers the CPU, GPU, four memory modules, and both storage drives without extra cables. Four DDR5 slots are populated, freeing no DIMM positions for future expansion. The PCI Express x16 slot is filled by the RTX 5080, leaving no room for a second graphics card.

Questions about this item

Do I need to supply my own monitor, keyboard and mouse for the ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 to function?

The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and tested, so it only requires an external display and input devices to begin gaming.

Will my current SATA III hard drives connect to the storage interfaces inside this desktop?

Yes, the chassis includes a SATA III interface that supports the pre-installed 2TB HDD and can accept additional SATA drives you may keep.

How can I verify the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Ryzen 9 9950X3D at its 4.3GHz base frequency under load?

Monitor CPU core temperatures and clock speeds in the BIOS or a hardware utility while running a sustained workload; stable operation at the rated frequency confirms the cooler is performing as designed.
