What this HDMI 2.1 splitter does

This AUBEAMTO splitter takes one HDMI source and duplicates the signal to two displays simultaneously. It supports resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with RGB 4:4:4 colour sampling. The unit handles HDR10+, Dolby Vision and 3D formats, and includes a DC 5 V power adapter for stable operation.

Who this suits and who it does not

Ideal for gamers connecting a PS5 or Xbox Series X to two screens, or for home-cinema setups mirroring a Blu-ray player to a TV and projector. It only mirrors the input; it cannot extend a desktop across two monitors. Buyers who need independent content on each display should look at a matrix switch or a graphics card with multiple outputs.

Check your cables and displays before ordering

Both output devices must support the target resolution and HDCP 2.3 for protected content to play. Use certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cables rated for 48 Gbps to reach 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz without signal loss. The splitter requires the included power supply; ensure a mains socket is available near the installation point.

Questions about this item

What source device and HDMI cables do I need to get 8K@60Hz from the splitter?

Connect an HDMI 2.1 source such as a PS5 or Xbox Series X with Ultra High Speed HDMI cables rated for 48Gbps to the input and both outputs.

Will the splitter downscale 4K@120Hz automatically if one of my two monitors only handles 4K@60Hz?

The unit mirrors the input signal to both outputs at the same resolution; it does not downscale, so both displays must support the chosen mode.

How can I confirm the splitter is passing 4K@120Hz with HDR to both screens?

Play 4K@120Hz HDR content and verify each display's info menu shows 4K at 120 Hz with HDR active on both outputs simultaneously.
