HDMI to YPbPr and VGA Converter

This AUBEAMTO adapter converts a digital HDMI signal into analogue YPbPr component video with stereo RCA audio or VGA video with Toslink SPDIF audio. A physical switch selects between the two output modes because they cannot operate at the same time. The unit includes a 5V/1A DC power supply and a user manual. It is intended for connecting modern HDMI sources to legacy displays or audio equipment.

Resolution and format constraints

The converter accepts HDMI input at 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p at 60Hz. It outputs the same set of resolutions over YPbPr or VGA. An on-screen display allows you to confirm or adjust the active input and output formats. The built-in scaler handles both up-scaling and down-scaling to match the connected display's native resolution.

Audio output selection

Stereo analogue audio via RCA is available only when the YPbPr output is selected. Digital audio via Toslink SPDIF is available only when the VGA output is selected. The device supports PCM, DTS Digital and Dolby Digital bitstreams but cannot pass DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD formats. Buyers who need simultaneous analogue and digital audio outputs cannot use this converter.
