This 5.9-inch adapter converts a Single Mode Mini DisplayPort 1.2 output to an HDMI 1.4 input. It supports 4K at 30 Hz and 1080p at 120 Hz with audio pass-through. The compact black dongle weighs 0.05 lb and includes DPCP and HDCP compliance.

Replaces passive cables that cannot drive HDMI

Use this active converter when a source only provides a Mini DisplayPort 1.2 signal and the display requires HDMI. The jump is worth it for Ultrabook or laptop users connecting to 4K televisions, monitors or projectors. Passive cables will not work with Single Mode mDP sources.

Limited to HDMI 1.4 bandwidth
