Active DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 converter

This active adapter connects a DisplayPort 1.2 source to an HDMI 2.0 display. It supports video resolutions up to 4K x 2K at 60 Hz. The 6 inch cable features a latching DisplayPort connector for a secure link. Plug-and-play operation requires no software installation.

Suits users with a DP 1.2 output

Ideal for connecting a laptop or desktop to a 4K monitor, projector or TV using an existing HDMI cable. Not for users needing a passive adapter or a longer integrated cable run. Buyers requiring USB-C or Mini DisplayPort input should look at a different converter type.

Latching DisplayPort male connector

The connector locks into the source port to prevent accidental disconnection during use. This mechanical feature distinguishes the unit from standard friction-fit adapters. Verify your source has a full-size DisplayPort 1.2 output before purchase.

Questions about this item

Which cable length should I pick for a tight laptop setup?

The adapter has a fixed 6‑inch cable, keeping the connection short and tidy behind a notebook.

What does 4K x 2K @ 60 Hz mean for my monitor?

It delivers Ultra HD resolution at a full 60 frames per second, so motion stays smooth on a 4K display.

How does the DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 link limit what I can run?

The active converter caps the signal at 4K 60 Hz, so higher refresh rates or deeper colour are not possible through this adapter.
