Facial Fingerprint Terminal for 1,000 Users

The Audiovox nFace128 terminal combines facial recognition, fingerprint scanning and IC card verification in a single 4-inch device. It stores up to 1,000 user profiles and 100,000 event records. An HD binocular camera with automatic fill-light handles low-light conditions. TCP/IP connectivity links the unit to networked attendance software.

Check Network and Power Before Installing

Verify that your site has a wired Ethernet drop for the TCP/IP link and a compatible power source for the terminal. Confirm that your attendance management software can accept data from a ZKTeco device via the ADMS platform. Ensure the mounting location accommodates a 4-inch screen unit and allows users to stand comfortably for face and fingerprint enrolment.

U-Disk Transfer Simplifies Offline Management

The terminal supports uploading and downloading user data and logs via a standard USB flash drive. This lets administrators move records between the device and a PC without a live network connection. It is useful for sites with restricted LAN access or for periodic backups when the software server is offline.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the nFace128 and do I need to buy anything extra to start using it?

The terminal includes the nFace128 unit with its built-in HD binocular camera, fingerprint sensor and IC card reader. No extra modules are required for face, fingerprint or card verification; a U-disk can be added later for offline record transfer if desired.

The specs list 1000 face, 1000 fingerprint and 1000 card users — which capacity should guide my choice?

All three biometric capacities are 1000 users, so the limiting factor is the smallest of the methods you plan to enable. If you will use only faces, the 1000-face limit applies; if you mix faces and fingerprints, the total enrolled users cannot exceed 1000.

What does the 100000-record figure mean for daily operation?

The device can store up to 100000 attendance or access events before the log must be cleared or downloaded via TCP/IP or U-disk, letting a 1000-person site run for weeks without manual intervention.
