Audiovox nFace128 multi-modal access terminal

This Audiovox nFace128 terminal combines visible-light facial recognition, fingerprint scanning and IC card verification in a single unit. A 4-inch HD binocular camera adjusts to ambient light and activates a visible-light fill lamp in darker areas. TCP/IP connectivity provides stable data transmission for real-time attendance tracking. The device stores up to 100,000 transaction records and supports U-disk uploads for offline management.

Suits small offices needing three-factor

Organisations that require face, fingerprint and card options at each entry point will find the triple-mode flexibility useful. The 1,000-user capacity for each biometric type covers typical branch teams. Sites without network cabling or that need Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or mobile-app enrolment should consider other models. Environments demanding outdoor-rated housings or larger user databases are not a fit.

1,000 face templates with 100,000 event records

The terminal holds 1,000 facial templates, 1,000 fingerprint templates and 1,000 card users simultaneously. Its log capacity is 100,000 records, which determines how long history is retained before export. If your workforce exceeds 1,000 enrolled faces or you need longer on-device logs, this unit will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

How often will the 100,000-record log need to be cleared or archived?

The terminal stores up to 100,000 attendance records; once full, older entries must be exported via U-disk or overwritten, so schedule offloads before the log reaches capacity.

Will the 1,000-face limit restrict enrolment as the workforce grows?

Face capacity is capped at 1,000 users; exceeding that requires deleting existing templates or upgrading to a higher-capacity model.

How warm does the HD binocular camera unit get during continuous all-day verification?

The device uses a visible-light fill light that activates in low light; sustained operation keeps the camera module warm but within normal operating temperature for indoor office use.
