Identity verification terminal

The Audiovox nFace128 is a multi-modal access control terminal designed for office environments. It combines facial recognition, fingerprint scanning and IC card verification in a single unit. The device supports up to 1000 enrolled users across all three credential types. It suits businesses that need flexible, contactless entry management.

Low-power network operation

The terminal connects via TCP/IP for stable data transmission and real-time synchronisation with management software. Its HD binocular camera automatically activates visible light fill illumination in darker conditions. This allows reliable identification without high ambient lighting. Power consumption remains modest during normal daily operation.

Sustained workload capacity

The unit stores up to 100000 transaction records locally for audit trails and reporting. Bulk user data can be uploaded or downloaded using a U-disk for offline management. The multi-modal algorithm maintains consistent verification speed across repeated authentications. It handles continuous daily traffic without performance degradation.

Questions about this item

How is the nFace128 mounted and what wiring step is often missed?

The terminal is wall-mounted using the included bracket. The step often missed is connecting the exit button and lock relay wires to the rear terminal block before sealing the housing.

Which parts will need replacement after extended use?

The optical fingerprint sensor window should be cleaned regularly and may need replacement if scratched. The visible-light fill LEDs and the binocular camera module are the other components that can degrade over time.

What limit is reached first when the terminal runs continuously?

The 100,000-event log fills first. Once full, new transactions overwrite the oldest records unless they are downloaded via U-disk or TCP/IP.
