  • HD binocular camera enables fast, accurate identification in low light
  • TCP/IP connectivity provides stable, high-speed data transmission
  • USB-disk upload and download simplifies user management
  • Stores 100,000 records and 1,000 users for mid-size deployments

Facial, fingerprint and card access

The Audiovox nFace128 terminal combines facial recognition, fingerprint scanning and IC card verification in a single desktop unit. A built-in HD binocular camera adjusts to ambient light and activates visible fill illumination in darker conditions. TCP/IP connectivity provides stable data transfer, while U-disk support allows offline user and record management. The device stores up to 1000 face templates, 1000 fingerprints and 1000 card users.

Offices needing multi-factor entry

Organisations that require three independent credentials — face, fingerprint and card — for each access point will find the verification options suitable. Sites that must operate without a wired network link or that need outdoor-rated housing should consider alternative equipment. The terminal is designed for indoor, networked environments with mains power available.

1000 face capacity

The decisive figure is the 1000 face template limit, which defines the maximum unique users the system can recognise visually. If your rollout exceeds this number, the unit cannot accommodate the additional enrolments. Buyers with larger populations should verify headcount before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the nFace128 come with a mounting kit and power supply, or do I need to buy them separately?

The terminal ships as a complete unit with the HD binocular camera and fill light built in; mounting hardware and a 12 V power adapter are not included and must be sourced separately.

Should I choose the model that stores 1 000 faces or one with a larger face database?

This model supports 1 000 face templates, 1 000 fingerprint templates and 1 000 card users with 100 000 event records; no larger-capacity variant is listed for the nFace128.

What does the 100 000 record capacity mean for daily use in a 100-person office?

It allows roughly 1 000 transactions per employee before the log fills, so a 100-person site can run for months without needing to offload data via TCP/IP or U-disk.
