Quad 1080p Multi-Viewer Switcher

The AVer HD-401MV routes four HDMI sources to one display with real-time seamless switching up to 1080p and 2K@60Hz. It adds a VGA output for legacy monitors and includes an IR remote for front-panel control. The unit ships with a dual-voltage AC adapter and international plug converter.

Suits multi-source monitoring setups

Ideal for operators who need four live feeds — such as security cameras, consoles or media players — visible on a single screen without manual cable changes. Not suited for installations requiring 4K@60Hz throughput, HDR pass-through, or more than four simultaneous inputs.

Four HDMI inputs with seamless 1080p switching

The defining specification is the four-port HDMI input bank combined with real-time seamless switching at up to 1080p resolution. This determines whether the device can consolidate your exact source count while maintaining uninterrupted video during transitions.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the HD-401MV so I can confirm it fits my rack shelf?

The unit measures 7.6 inches long by 4.25 inches wide by 0.8 inches high, so verify your shelf depth and clearance before mounting.

How do I connect the IR remote sensor if the switcher is placed inside a closed cabinet?

The IR receiver is built into the front panel; you must keep the front face visible or use an external IR extender cable routed to the front.

Will the internal power supply or cooling fan need replacement after a few years of daily use?

The device uses an external AC adapter with no internal fan, so only the adapter may need replacing if it fails.
