Extracts eARC audio from 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz HDMI 2.1 sources to legacy amplifiers with zero latency
This HDMI 2.1 audio extractor pulls high-resolution audio from an 8K or 4K video stream and sends it to an AV receiver or amplifier via eARC. It handles LPCM, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats while passing uncompressed video up to 8K at 60 Hz 4:2:0 12-bit or 4K at 120 Hz 4:4:4 12-bit. Ideal for installations where a modern TV must feed audio to a legacy amplifier that lacks eARC support.
Connect the source to the extractor input, the TV to the HDMI output and the amplifier to the eARC port; the unit manages EDID, cable equalisation and CEC control automatically. Ensure all cables are certified for 48 Gbps bandwidth to avoid signal dropouts at 8K resolutions. A frequent issue is forgetting to enable eARC or CEC in the TV and amplifier menus, which prevents audio from reaching the extractor.
Verify that your TV or source provides an eARC/ARC-enabled HDMI port and that your amplifier has an HDMI input capable of receiving the extracted audio stream. Confirm that your HDMI cables support the full 48 Gbps data rate required for 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz signals. The extractor is HDCP 2.3 compliant, so protected content will pass through only if every device in the chain also supports HDCP 2.3.

Connect an 8K 60 Hz source and verify the display shows 4:2:0 12-bit signal; the HDMI 2.1 path adds no measurable delay.
You need HDMI 2.1 cables rated for 48 Gbps to link the source, TV and AV receiver; no other items are included.
This single model de-embeds eARC audio to LPCM, Dolby Atmos or DTS:X for any amplifier with HDMI input.
