AVer TD-Gulfmew-1839 production switcher 4 in 1 out 3.5mm RCA 5 ft cable

Four-input stereo selector

The AVer TD-Gulfmew-1839 is a passive bidirectional audio switcher that routes four source devices to one output or one source to four outputs. It accepts both 3.5 mm auxiliary and RCA stereo connections on every port, making it suitable for consoles, disc players, TV boxes and computers. Only one channel is active at a time, so simultaneous distribution is not possible. No external power or software is required for operation.

Analogue switching limits

Because the unit is entirely passive, signal level and impedance depend on the connected equipment rather than on internal amplification. The 1.5-metre RCA cable adds convenience but also introduces a fixed length that cannot be extended without additional couplers. Switching is mechanical via front-panel buttons, so remote or automated control is not supported. Audio quality remains transparent only when source and load impedances are reasonably matched.

Metal chassis and desktop footprint

A steel enclosure measuring 5.6 by 2.9 by 1.5 inches provides shielding and durability for desktop or rack-adjacent placement. The compact form factor leaves cabling accessible from the front and rear without demanding deep shelf space. Rubber feet keep the box stable when buttons are pressed repeatedly. The fixed 5 ft cable terminates in RCA plugs, so devices requiring 3.5 mm jacks need a separate adapter at the switcher end.
