4K 240Hz Bi-Directional HDMI Switcher

This HDMI 2.1 bi-directional unit functions as either a 2×1 switcher or a 1×2 splitter for gaming consoles, media players and computers. It routes 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 240 Hz through a single output or dual inputs. Manual push-button selection with LED indicators shows the active path.

HDMI 2.1 48 Gbps bandwidth ceiling

The HDMI 2.1 interface caps throughput at 48 Gbps, so 8K 60 Hz and 4K 240 Hz signals pass without compression. VRR and ALLM pass-through are supported, but simultaneous dual-display output and automatic switching are not available. Source devices must supply HDMI 2.1 signalling for the highest modes.

Aluminium alloy chassis with female HDMI ports

A black aluminium alloy enclosure dissipates heat during extended sessions. Three female HDMI connectors and one USB port sit on the panel; the USB port serves service or power needs. The unit is plug-and-play with no driver installation, and the manual button ensures deliberate source changes.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2-in-1 switcher mode or the 1-in-2 splitter mode for my setup?

Use the 2-in-1 mode to connect two source devices to one display, or the 1-in-2 mode to send one source to two displays. The manual button and LED indicators let you select the active path. Simultaneous output to both displays is not supported.

What does the 48Gbps bandwidth actually deliver when I connect a console or PC?

The 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 link carries 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz with VRR and ALLM. Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and HDR10+ pass through unchanged, so you get lossless video and audio without compression.

Does the HDMI 2.1 interface cap the refresh rate at 4K resolution?

No. The HDMI 2.1 port supports the full 48Gbps specification, allowing 4K at 240Hz and 8K at 60Hz. For reliable 4K 240Hz operation the manufacturer recommends 16K-rated cables with 28AWG gauge no longer than 1 meter.
