Six-pack 90-degree SATA cables

This six-pack supplies six 18-inch SATA III cables with 90-degree locking connectors. They link motherboards or host controllers to internal hard drives, SSDs and optical drives for storage expansion. The cables carry data only and do not deliver power to the attached devices. Each latch secures the connection against accidental disconnection.

6 Gbps headroom and legacy support

The SATA 3.0 interface permits up to 6000 megabytes per second, with actual throughput limited by the drive or controller. The cables work with 2.5-inch SSDs, 3.5-inch hard drives and optical drives, and remain compatible with SATA I and SATA II equipment. They are not suited for builds that require straight connectors or longer reach than 18 inches.

Locking latch ensures stable data link

Every cable end features a stainless-steel locking clip that clicks into the SATA port, preventing signal loss from vibration or cable movement. The low-profile jacket eases routing in tight chassis spaces. No software or drivers are needed; the connection is purely plug-and-play.

Questions about this item

Will these 90 degree SATA cables fit alongside my older SATA I and SATA II drives?

Yes, the cables are backwards compatible with SATA I and SATA II, so they work with legacy drives while supporting up to 6 Gbps on SATA III ports.

How can I confirm each cable is seated correctly after installation?

The locking latch on both ends clicks into place, giving a tactile and audible confirmation that the 7-pin connector is fully engaged.

Does the 6 pack include power cables or only the data cables?

The package contains six 18 inch data cables only; power for each drive must be supplied separately from your PSU.
