Two cables for tight builds

This two-pack supplies one downward right-angle and one straight 7-pin SATA data cable, each 0.6 ft long. They connect a motherboard or host controller to 2.5 in SSDs, 3.5 in HDDs or optical drives. The red and black colour coding helps identify cables inside a crowded case.

Locking latch prevents accidental disconnects

Press the latch before plugging or unplugging to engage the spring-steel locking mechanism. The short length reduces clutter but leaves little slack, so plan the routing before securing drives. Backwards compatibility with SATA 1.0 and 2.0 ports means the cables work with older controllers.

Speed limited by the slowest device

The SATA 3.0 interface supports up to 6 Gbps, yet actual throughput cannot exceed the rating of the attached drive or controller. Builders needing longer runs or external eSATA connections should look elsewhere, as these cables are strictly for internal chassis use.
