Twenty-four slim Cat6a patch cables, each three feet long, use 28 AWG conductors that are fifty percent thinner than standard cables to simplify high-density patch-panel-to-switch runs
This 24-pack of Cat6a patch cables is built for high-density patch-panel-to-switch runs in data centres and server rooms. Each 3 ft white cable uses a 28 AWG stranded pure copper conductor with gold-plated RJ45 contacts. The slim profile reduces pathway congestion and improves airflow inside crowded racks.
The 28 AWG construction is at least 50 % smaller in diameter than standard 24 AWG patch cords, giving installers more finger space and a tighter bend radius. Clear snagless clips make port LEDs visible and release easily, so dense patching stays neat and professional without extra cable-management hardware.
Cables terminate in standard RJ45 plugs for tool-free insertion into patch panels and switches. The ANSI/TIA-568.2-D recognised design supports 96 metre channels that include 90 metre permanent links, so installers must ensure total run length stays within that limit to guarantee 10G performance at 550 MHz.

The 28 AWG patch cords meet ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and support 96 metre channels with 90 metre permanent links, so they are rated for the same installed lifetime as standard cables.
Each cable is specified for 550 MHz and 10 Gbps, so the 550 MHz rating is the first limit you reach under sustained high-speed traffic.
The cables are passive copper with gold-plated contacts; they add no active heat or power draw, and the 50 % smaller diameter actually improves airflow and cooling in dense patches.
