Bluecctv BL-IR7042V 700TVL analog camera

The Bluecctv BL-IR7042V is a 700TVL bullet camera built for outdoor surveillance. It uses a 1/3" 960H Sony EXview HAD CCD II sensor driven by a Sony Effio-E chipset. A 2.8-12mm vari-focal lens allows adjustable viewing angles. The housing meets IP66 for weather resistance.

42 IR LEDs with SMART IR and OSD joystick

Forty-two IR LEDs provide illumination rated at 0 lux with IR active. SMART IR technology spreads the beam to prevent central white-out. An on-screen display with a built-in joystick controller on the cable lets you configure privacy masking, motion detection and multi-language menus locally. UTC controller support is also included.

Installers needing vari-focal analog coverage

This camera suits installers who need a vari-focal analog bullet with cable-integrated OSD control and 42-LED IR. Buyers requiring IP-network streaming, motorised zoom or higher than 700TVL resolution should look at other product types.

Questions about this item

How often should the 42 IR LEDs be checked for performance loss?

The 42 IR LEDs are built into the sealed IP66 housing and require no routine maintenance; they operate at 0 Lux with IR on and have no user-serviceable parts.

What limits continuous recording time on the BL-IR7042V?

The camera has no internal storage and streams analog video continuously; recording duration depends entirely on the external DVR capacity and configuration.

How much heat does the IP66 housing dissipate during all-day operation?

Power draw is 12 V DC with the 42 IR LEDs active; the IP66-rated housing is designed to dissipate that heat passively in outdoor conditions.
