SKU CH-HTZ5-TF98R

A 2 megapixel network camera with 1920 x 1080P resolution, H.264 dual-stream encoding, 4mm fixed lens, 36 IR LEDs, POE and 12V DC power

  • 2 Megapixel resolution delivers 1920 x 1080P detail
  • H.264 dual-stream encoding optimises bandwidth and storage
  • 36 IR LEDs provide extended night-vision coverage
  • POE and 12V DC power simplify installation
  • Weather-proof housing ensures reliable outdoor operation

Ideal for outdoor monitoring

The Bluecctv Bl-IR8020-IP is a 2 Megapixel network camera built for exterior surveillance. Its weather-proof mini bullet housing withstands outdoor conditions while the fixed 4mm lens covers a set field of view. The unit suits homes or small businesses needing a compact, fixed-position IP camera.

Fits a PoE or 12V DC infrastructure

Power over Ethernet lets the camera draw power and data through a single cable, reducing wiring work. A 12V DC option is also available for installations without a PoE switch. The 3G support adds a fallback path when a wired network is not practical, and audio output allows one-way sound integration.

Replaces basic analogue or low-resolution IP units

The 1920 x 1080P progressive scan sensor and H.264 plus MJPEG dual-stream encoding deliver sharper footage than older standard-definition cameras. Day/night ICR switching, 2D noise reduction and 36 IR LEDs extend usable imaging into darkness. Buyers who need varifocal zoom or higher frame rates should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum IR illumination distance the built-in LEDs can cover at night?

The integrated infrared array provides up to 36 metres of night-vision coverage for the 2 megapixel sensor.

How much heat or fan noise does the PoE-powered mini bullet generate during continuous operation?

The camera draws power through PoE or 12 V DC with no moving parts, so it runs silently and produces only minimal warmth.

Which network infrastructure must already be in place for the camera to connect and receive power?

A PoE-enabled switch or injector and a standard Ethernet cable are required to deliver both data and power.
