What this camera does

The Bluecctv BL-IR9824-H-G-28 is an analogue CCTV camera built for basic surveillance. It captures 650 TV lines through a 1/3" Sony Super HAD II CCD with 976 by 508 effective pixels. The grey, weatherproof housing suits indoor or outdoor mounting.

Lens and night view fixed

A 2.8 mm fixed lens sets the field of view permanently. Twenty-four infrared LEDs illuminate scenes to 40 feet in total darkness. Buyers who need adjustable zoom or longer IR reach should choose a different model.

Power and heat in use

The unit runs on 12 V DC and draws only a small current, so it adds little heat to an enclosure. No fan is present, making operation silent. A standard 12 V supply powers the camera and the IR array together.
