Product Identity

The Bluecctv BL-IR9843-G-4 is a new analog CCTV camera built for outdoor surveillance. It delivers 580 TV Lines of resolution through a 1/3" Sony Super HAD II CCD with 768 (H) x 494 (V) effective pixels. The grey housing carries an IP66 waterproof rating and operates on 12V DC at 500mA.

Night Vision Range

Forty-two infrared LEDs provide illumination down to 0 Lux with a stated IR distance of 82 to 98 feet. The 4mm fixed lens sets a constant field of view, while ELC, AGC and AWB functions handle exposure, gain and white balance automatically. This specification determines whether the camera covers the required area after dark.

Ideal Installations

The unit suits installers needing a standalone analogue camera for perimeter or entrance monitoring in wet conditions. It does not suit buyers who want motorised zoom, network streaming or higher-resolution digital recording. It also does not suit systems that cannot supply 12V DC power or that require a different lens angle.

Questions about this item

What does the 580 TV Lines resolution mean for recorded footage?

The camera delivers 580 TV Lines of horizontal resolution through a 1/3" Sony Super HAD II CCD with 768 x 494 effective pixels, producing detailed analogue video for DVR recording.

How does the analogue video interface limit the installation?

The camera outputs a standard composite video signal over coaxial cable, so maximum cable run and signal quality depend on the DVR and cable grade rather than a digital network standard.

What mounting clearance does the IP66 housing need?

The grey IP66-rated case is designed for outdoor wall or ceiling mounting and requires a 12 V DC supply capable of 500 mA; the fixed 4 mm lens and 42 infrared LEDs give 82 to 98 ft night vision.
