Miniature HD-SDI camera for covert monitoring

The Eyemax XSQ 202 is a compact 1080p analog camera built around a 1/3 inch Sony CMOS sensor. Its 3.7 mm pinhole lens suits discreet installations where a visible lens would be impractical. The unit delivers high-definition serial digital video at 1080p or 720p resolution with over 1000 TV lines of detail.

Fixed pinhole lens and RG59/RG6 cabling

A fixed 3.7 mm focal length means the field of view cannot be adjusted after mounting, so positioning must be planned precisely. The pinhole aperture keeps the profile low for hidden or semi-hidden placements. The manufacturer recommends RG59 or RG6 coaxial cable with crimp or compressed connectors to maintain signal integrity.

Day and night sensitivity limits

Colour imaging requires at least 1 lux at F1.2, dropping to 0.1 lux in black-and-white mode when light falls lower. Digital noise reduction helps clean the image in dim conditions, but the fixed iris cannot open wider than F1.2. The HD-SDI interface does not carry power, so a separate supply must be routed to the camera location.
