SKU CH-BVF0-902RK

Converts one HD-SDI video channel to fibre for up to 20 km transmission at 1080p 30 fps and includes both transmitter and receiver

  • Transmits 1080p video up to 20 km over fibre
  • SMPTE 292M and 296M standards ensure broadcast-grade signal integrity
  • Automatic 20 dB equalisation at 1310 nm compensates cable loss
  • Kit includes both transmitter and receiver for complete link
  • Power adapter not included, allowing flexible supply choice

1CH HD-SDI Fiber Kit

This Bluecctv BL-SDI2Fiber kit converts a single HD-SDI camera signal to fiber for indoor surveillance runs. It includes both a transmitter and a receiver to link cameras over long distances. The system suits installers extending existing HD-SDI infrastructure without replacing cabling.

Sustained 20 km Transmission

The converter maintains 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second across the full 20 km link. Automatic cable equalization at 20 dB and 1310 nm keeps the digital video stable over the entire run. Signal standards SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 296M ensure consistent performance without degradation.

Power Adapter Not Included

The kit ships without a power adapter, so the installer must source compatible supplies for both the transmitter and receiver units. This omission decides whether the package is ready to deploy or requires extra procurement. Check voltage and connector requirements before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the BL-SDI2Fiber transmitter or receiver generate noticeable heat during continuous 1080p@30f operation?

The kit is a passive converter pair with no active cooling; typical surface temperature stays close to ambient during all-day 1080p@30f transmission.

Which power adapters must I already own to run the BL-SDI2Fiber kit?

You need two DC supplies matching the barrel-jack voltage and current printed on each unit; the package ships without any power adapter.

Will the BL-SDI2Fiber link work with my existing SMPTE 292M cameras and SMPTE 296M recorders?

Yes, the converter complies with SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 296M, so it bridges legacy HD-SDI gear over 1310 nm fiber up to 20 km.
