Bluecctv BL-VPD5835VF-IR-2812 Dome Camera

The Bluecctv BL-VPD5835VF-IR-2812 is an IP network camera built for outdoor security monitoring. It delivers 580 TV lines of resolution through a 1/3" CCD sensor with 768 x 494 effective pixels. The vandalproof dome housing suits installations requiring durable surveillance.

2.8-12mm Vari-Focal Lens

A 2.8 ~ 12mm vari-focal lens lets installers adjust the field of view on site for precise scene coverage. This single specification determines whether the camera fits the required monitoring distance and angle. Fixed-lens alternatives cannot offer this framing flexibility.

35 IR LEDs with 90-Foot Range

Thirty-five infrared LEDs provide 0 lux illumination up to 90 feet for night-time recording. The IP67 weatherproof rating ensures reliable operation in exposed locations. The 12V DC power input supports standard security camera power supplies. Buyers needing longer IR reach or higher resolution should consider other models.

Questions about this item

What does 580 TV Lines mean for the picture I will see on a monitor?

The camera resolves 580 horizontal lines of detail, so faces and licence plates stay recognisable at typical doorway distances when viewed on a standard CCTV monitor.

How does the 2.8–12 mm vari-focal lens change what the camera covers?

You can adjust the focal length between 2.8 mm for a wide lobby view and 12 mm for a narrow corridor zoom without moving the dome.

Will the IP67 rating and 12 V DC input let me mount this dome under a soffit?

Yes, the IP67 housing resists rain and dust, and the 12 V DC supply works with common low-voltage cable runs to soffit locations.
