Two-pack drop-in ceiling speaker

The Bogen Communications BOGCSD2X2 supplies a pair of full-range drivers that mount directly into a standard ceiling grid, cutting installation time and labour. The white finish blends with common tile colours for a clean look in offices, schools or retail spaces.

Frequency response and power handling

Each unit covers 95 Hz to 20 kHz, delivering voice and background music without a separate subwoofer. The passive design draws no mains power and adds no fan noise, so the ceiling cavity stays quiet during operation.

Included support rail crossbar

The bundled crossbar spans the grid rails, letting one person seat both speakers securely without extra hardware. A two-year limited warranty backs the pair against defects in materials or workmanship.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 23.8" drop-in speaker into a ceiling grid?

Lay each 12 lb speaker into the 23.8" by 23.8" grid opening, then attach the included support rail crossbar to the grid rails for secure mounting.

What maintenance will the speakers need after installation?

No routine maintenance is required; the sealed full-range drivers have no user-serviceable parts and the white baffle can be dusted with a dry cloth if needed.

What low-frequency limit will I hear first during sustained playback?

The 95 Hz minimum frequency response means bass below that point rolls off, so deep low-end content will be the first limit noticed.
