Panel-mount audio adapter for stage equipment

This Boxwave PowerCon adapter connects 3-pin power cables in professional audio and lighting rigs. It provides a lockable male-to-female link rated for 20 A at 250 V. The IP65-rated housing protects the connection against dust and water jets in harsh environments.

20 A continuous capacity with IP65 headroom

The connector handles sustained loads up to 20 amps and 250 volts, suitable for amplifiers, stage lamps and test gear. Its IP65 seal holds only when mated and locked; unmated panels or mismatched input/output orientation break the waterproof barrier.

Locking twist mechanism decides fit

The twist-to-lock design secures the cable without tools and allows quick release for maintenance. Buyers who need a non-locking straight plug or a different pin count cannot use this part.

Questions about this item

Will this IP65-rated adapter fit my existing panel cutout for stage lighting?

The adapter is designed for panel-mount installation with a male-female PowerCon pair; verify your panel cutout matches the connector flange before mounting.

How can I confirm the twist-lock mechanism is engaged after connecting the adapter?

After inserting the plug into the matching PowerCon socket, twist the locking ring until it clicks and the connector cannot be pulled free by hand.

Does the package include mounting hardware or only the adapter itself?

The box contains the PowerCon adapter connector; mounting screws, gaskets or panel cutout tools are not included and must be sourced separately.
