Product Identity

These manila file folders measure letter size at 12 1/4" by 9 1/2" and come in a box of 50. The 14pt stock provides a rigid feel for daily office filing. A full-cut end tab runs the height of the folder for clear label visibility. Fastener position one is pre-punched for two-prong fasteners.

Setup Check

Verify that your filing cabinet or shelf accommodates letter-size folders with a scored 3/4" expansion. Ensure you have two-prong fasteners that match the pre-punched position if you plan to secure papers inside. The single-ply tab is 1/2" wide, so confirm label dimensions fit that space.

Build Notes

Rounded top corners on both front and back panels reduce snagging when folders are pulled from drawers. The front panel is undercut 1/4" deep for easier thumb access. Ten percent recycled content with ten percent post-consumer material meets basic environmental standards without affecting stiffness.

Questions about this item

Does the box contain 50 complete folders or do fasteners come separately?

The box contains 50 complete 14pt manila folders with fasteners already installed at position 1; nothing else needs to be purchased.

Should I choose the full-cut end-tab style or a different tab cut for my drawer system?

Choose the full-cut end-tab style when folders sit side-by-side in open-shelf or lateral-file drawers so the 1/2" wide tabs are fully visible.

What does the 3/4" expansion score mean once the folder is in use?

The score lets the folder body expand up to 3/4" thick, so it holds bulky letter-size files without tearing the single-ply tab.
