Medical Chart Divider Sets

Each box contains 50 collated sets of eight end-tab dividers printed on 90lb manila stock. The dividers measure 11 inches tall with tabs extending half an inch beyond the page edge. They arrive ready to file without additional sorting.

Upgrade from Loose Tabs

Pre-collated sets replace hand-sorted divider packs and eliminate the time spent matching tabs to chart sections. The jump is worth it when a practice files high volumes of patient records daily and needs consistent tab order across every chart.

End-Tab Filing Limits

End-tab dividers work only with shelf-based filing systems that read the tab from the side of the folder. They will not function in top-tab cabinets or binders that require tabs on the upper edge. The 1/8 cut width fixes the tab spacing and cannot be adjusted for wider or narrower labels.

Questions about this item

What size chart or binder do these 8-1/2" x 11" dividers with 1/2" tab extensions fit?

The dividers measure 8-1/2" x 11" and the end tabs extend an additional 1/2", so they fit standard letter-size medical charts or binders designed for end-tab filing.

How are the 50 collated sets installed, and what is the common mistake?

Each of the 50 sets arrives pre-collated in the correct tab order; the common mistake is separating the eight tabs before placing them in the chart instead of inserting the entire set as a unit.

When will the 90lb manila dividers or the coloured tabs need replacement?

The 90lb manila stock resists everyday handling, but tabs that are written on with erasable ink or that show heavy wear from frequent flipping should be replaced to keep the chart legible.
