Letter-Size Steel Drawer Storage

The Fellowes 1231101 Super Stor/Drawer Steel Plus is a letter-size storage drawer built for offices that need durable, stackable filing. Its steel-reinforced frame and four-layer front and back panels withstand daily use. Removable hanging-file rails and a reinforced plastic handle keep documents accessible. Six drawers per carton suit teams organising active paperwork.

12.5 x 23.25 x 10.38 Inch Internal Capacity

Internal dimensions of 12.50 inches wide, 23.25 inches deep and 10.38 inches high hold standard letter folders with room for several hundred sheets per drawer. Stacking up to five drawers high multiplies vertical storage without extra floor space. The heavy wire frame resists bowing when fully loaded, though very high-density archives may exceed the practical load limit.

Upgrade from Cardboard Bankers Boxes

This drawer system replaces single-wall cardboard boxes that crush under weight or shift when stacked. The steel frame and reinforced panels eliminate the sag that makes lower boxes hard to open. The jump is worth it when files are accessed daily, when drawers must stack five high, or when a permanent, reusable solution reduces replacement costs.

Questions about this item

Will the 14-inch wide Super Stor/Drawer Steel Plus box fit on my existing 12-inch deep shelf?

The external depth is 25.5 inches, so a 12-inch deep shelf is too shallow for this drawer unit.

How can I confirm the drawers are stacked securely after assembly?

The heavy wire frame and four-layer front and back panels keep five drawers stable when stacked to full height.

Does the 1231101 carton include hanging-file rails or must I buy them separately?

Each drawer ships with removable rails for hanging files already installed.
