Professional Surveillance Camera

The BZB Gear BG-MAESTRO is an 8MP IP camera built for professional surveillance and streaming installations. It uses a 4K Sony CMOS sensor to deliver 1080p footage at 30Hz through SDI, USB 3.0, or LAN outputs. The unit targets integrators who need flexible connectivity and automated subject tracking in a single compact device.

8MP Sensor With 1080p Output Headroom

The 8MP sensor provides resolution headroom for the ePTZ auto-tracking to crop and follow movement across a 57.2° diagonal field of view without mechanical parts. Video is locked to 1080p at 30Hz, so the extra pixels serve tracking stability rather than higher-resolution recording. Minimum illumination of 0.5Lux ensures usable images in low-light conditions around the clock.

POE And Multi-Interface Build

Power over Ethernet simplifies cabling by carrying both data and power over the LAN port, while 3G-SDI and USB 3.0 provide direct links to recorders, switchers, or workstations. The ePTZ design removes moving mechanisms, increasing durability and enabling silent operation. An audio input allows an external microphone to be added for complete scene capture.

Questions about this item

Will the BG-MAESTRO's USB 3.0 output work with my older USB 2.0 capture card?

The camera outputs over USB 3.0; a USB 2.0 port will limit bandwidth and may prevent 1080p at 30Hz from being captured reliably.

How can I confirm the auto-tracking is functioning correctly after installation?

Walk through the 57.2° diagonal field of view — the ePTZ should pan and tilt digitally to keep you centred without any mechanical noise.

Does the box include a PoE injector or must I supply one?

The camera supports PoE over its LAN port; a PoE injector or PoE switch is not included and must be provided separately.
