12x optical zoom PTZ camera streams 4K at 60 Hz over IP, HDMI, 12G-SDI and USB with PoE power, Dante AV-H networking and tally lights
Model 12X
The BZBGEAR BG-ADAMO-4KDA12X-W is an 8MP PTZ network camera built for live streaming and broadcast workflows. It delivers 4K UHD resolution at up to 60Hz through HDMI 2.0, 12G-SDI, USB 3.0 and IP outputs. Integrated Dante AV-H networking allows audio and video distribution over standard Ethernet with PoE support.
The 12G-SDI connection maintains 4K@60Hz signal integrity over long cable runs without degradation. PoE supplies data, power and control over a single category cable, reducing infrastructure complexity during extended sessions. A MicroSD slot records up to 1 TB of 4K footage locally when network paths are unavailable.
This unit replaces static wide-angle cameras or PTZ models limited to 10x zoom and 1080p output. The jump is worthwhile when productions need 12x optical reach, 4K@60Hz over SDI, and Dante AV-H routing without adding external encoders. Buyers who need 25x zoom or larger sensor formats should consider other models.

Other versions of this model
The camera draws DC 12 V at 2.5 A from its supply and supports PoE, so a single Ethernet cable delivers both power and data without a separate adapter.
A managed switch that carries both PoE and Dante AV-H traffic is required; the camera connects via its LAN port using standard Ethernet cabling.
Yes, the RS-422 interface is compatible with RS-485 and the camera speaks VISCA control protocols for direct integration.
